We hope you’ll be attending the Annual Fundraising Auction on Friday. A special part of every auction is our teacher anniversary recognitions. This year, we will recognize Sandra Carmichael (15 years), Barbra Chigounis (5 years), and Myra Davis (5 years). Their dedication and commitment is much appreciated. We hope you’ll join us at the Auction, celebrate with us, and support our school.
Parent Teacher Conferences are May 21st. Conferences are a time for you to come in and sit down with the teachers and talk about your child and all that they’ve been doing at TPG this year. Please see your child’s teachers to schedule a conference.
Muffins with Mom - Trinity Playgroup will be celebrating Mother’s Day on Wednesday, May 5th between 8:00 and 9:00am. All Moms are invited to come join their little one in his or her classroom for juice and muffins. Moms are welcome to come read stories and participate in the morning activities. We hope to see you there!
Enrollment Reminder - Remember all families are currently enrolled on a 12 month contract which goes through August. Summer tuition has been prepaid and is non-refundable. PreK Graduation is a very special ceremony of recognition held in June, but it is not the last day of school. We recognize Graduation In June because summer is quite busy with outside play, vacation schedules, and transitional visits. We hope you are planning to stay through the full school year as we have many exciting activities planned. The last day of school for this year is August, 20th. If, however, you have plans to withdraw early, please let us know as soon as possible.
Staffing Update - We are actively preparing for Kristy’s departure from TPG at the end of May. Kristy’s last day will be May 21, 2010. We wish Kristy all the best in her transition and thank her for her years of service at TPG.
Brenna K. Murphy will be transitioning into the Lead Teacher position in the Post Day program. We are delighted to have Brenna assume this role. She has been working in Post Day since 2007, knows the program and children well, and brings a warm, engaging, and creative dynamic to the classroom.
Interviews are underway for an Assistant Teacher in both Intermediate and Post Day. You will be seeing candidates in the classrooms next week. I will let you know when these positions have been officially staffed. Your children are in good hands with the Intermediate and Post Day teachers who will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.
Thank you and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
